Is a charitable sewing group that provides clothing, school supplies, food and other essentials to children and their families living on Pine Ridge, Rosebud and Yankton Sioux Reservations in South Dakota.
We welcome sewers and crafters of all skill levels or anyone interested in our goal of improving children’s lives by providing their basic needs and supporting organizations that focus on their health, education and welfare such as schools, libraries, daycare centers, youth groups and social service agencies. Some organizations we support:
- Marty Indian School
- Children In Need of Care (Formerly Gather Our Children Home)
- Rosebud Sioux Tribe Maternal and Child Program
- Bright Start
- White Buffalo Calf Women’s Society
- Maggie’s House
- Wanblee Community
